Rani was born in Kudus in Central Java, Indonesia.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, she began her career as a medical representative for a local company before joining Boehringer Ingelheim Indonesia in 2013. In 2017 the opportunity arose to join the Angels Initiative as a consultant in Indonesia.
Rani has first-hand experience of the importance of managing stroke care, after a family member who suffered a stroke was unable to access optimal treatment. It has since become her heartfelt passion to help hospitals become stroke ready, and to help reduce the impact of death and disability among stroke patients.
